Beach Ball
Beach ball
I found my poem at the beach
Drifting and dancing,
Farther and farther out into the water.
Riding each wave with grace and finesse
Loving how the mist from the water
Gently touched his round surface
The bitter and salty smell of the water and seaweed
Grew stronger as my poem drifted further and further
Out in to the deep and mysterious blue sea
He wonders how long it would take for his lively
Yellow
Blue
And red
Stripes would fade
Just like the thoughts
Of the people who bought him
