Dark as a winter’s night
Enveloping everything in coldness
Bitter coldness
Nights that brings sheer loneliness
Turning into a blank canvas
Reaching out into the stars
Reaching out for their light
To emulate its shadowlike depths
To lesson the burdens
It has to carry
A winter’s night
The dissipates
In the morning’s glow
That will return once again
