The Mount Orizaba Sunset

By
The air was getting colder;
The climb was getting tougher.
It was slowly getting darker,
And the hill was getting steeper.
My legs were getting tired.
It however was required
For me to climb. I acquired
The power to continue until we reached the top.
Looking at the sun, I just had to stop.
I knew it’d be worth it so I continued on.
We finally reached the top right before sunset.
I had some sweat
On my skin
And on everyone’s face was a grin.
I cannot begin
To describe the view.
Colors of red, orange, yellow, pink, purple, and blue
Filled the sky. If I drew
What I saw there was no way I would do
The Mount Orizaba Sunset justice.
