Heart pacing, hand shaking
First date jitters, my head is aching

Been up all night, haven’t slept all day
Wondering if she will blow me away

Getting ready for hours, the time passes so fast
I am clean and nervous, but ready for a blast

I got the IM, my stomach dropped
My thoughts are spinning, my heart had stopped

Ready for the day I hope to remember forever
I even will put up with her “whatevers”

We walked around for hours, talking about everything
Trotting through the leaves on the ground, I knew we had a thing

We stopped for a minute, she started to write
Not on paper though, but in something more “tight”

By the letters in the leaves, I was shocked
I knew what to say, I knew we were locked

One simple answer got me to where I stand today
And to say the least, I am perfectly okay

One and a half years pass, the time has flown by
Soon this perfect couple will have to say there goodbyes

To different distances they go, they are always together in heart
Even when they are thousands of miles apart

She means the world to me and so much more
I hope each and everyday gets better then before

We say our goodbyes, but never break apart
We know this isn’t the beginning, but only the start

The time till we see each other again passes slowly
But we stay loyal and always holy

10 minutes to go till I see her again
I can’t wait to be entertained
