Me and You
Joyful memories seem trapped in the past;
It was an electrifying journey
But the finish line is now in my sight.
Caught for days’n limbos of vacillation
I have at last seen my destination.
I question, afraid of what each day’ll bring
Will melancholy start bubbling inside?
Or will huge burdens b’lifted off my heart?
Nothing’s certain, everything is a blur,
I just miss the days when we were me’n you.
