Ice Storm 2007

Great oak tree groaned in pain
they faught a mighty battle
before surindering to the rain
homes were damanged all power was out
lives were inturupted
"no school again today" all childern shout
mother nature blew her icy breath
and coated all surface
with one kiss of fritted death
the furay furry of the winter storm
spared few sould
as the icy mist formed
but after what seemed eternity to all
the sun came out
and vinita stood tall.
