Freedom, its nothing but a word.
How can this be the land of the free?
No one is free…We are all controlled
Whether it’s by a parent a friend or the government
We are controlled.
We are looked at differently, like a separate species.
A wise person said to me
“A teenager in a serious relationship with a child is called ‘stupid’, but a single adult with a child is called ‘brave’”
Also
“If a teenager stands up for what they believe in, it’s called ‘rebellion’, but an adult standing up for what they believe in is called ‘a visionary’”
We are not equal
And we are not ‘free’!
We are nothing but ‘foreigners’ for our society to blame they’re problems on,
If this is the land of the free,
Then I ask you,
“Where’s our freedom?”
