Why make me cry?
I'm like an eagle
I want to rise up
And soar majestically
But like the hunter,
You shot me down.
Why make me cry?
I'm like the runt of the litter born,
I just want to be accepted
But like the farmer,
You slaughtered me.
Why make me cry
I'm like the smallest pebble
I just want to be at peace
But like an angry man
You kicked me across the road.
