My best wishes

Here we are again, at the edge of another ledge
Another year behind you, many a new pledge
Should you make to hold on so chronic?
To the ones that lay broke, be it a tonic

Some hurt with purpose, some in rhyme
Some hurt with pain; but a bigger crime
‘Tis to hurt with silence, the cold edge…
Nonetheless, Oh over there is the ledge!

Be across safely! Watch your steps so ginger
Cross to your fresh beginning, with no hinder
Inhale the fruity dew of the meadow so fine
Cross over, with these steadfast wishes of mine…

Wishes of prosperity, wishes of good charm
Wishes that no one may do you no harm
Wishes that warmth embrace you; not burn
Ever full with success be your urn.

This be my wishes ever standing…

That the frightful ghosts of your past be gone
That the night, full with the Silver’s warmth be on
Your face, a soothing glow
As your ghosts be washed away in Styx’s river flow…
