What Do You Know?

There’s something magic in the way you walk,
Coincidentally, I hear every word when you talk,
There’s things you think I probably don’t know,
But I notice everything when I watch you go,
I could tell you that I love the spark in your laugh,
Or the way you worst subject is, “definitely math,”
I could tell you I know the color in your eyes,
And that you look away when you’re telling a lie,
I memorized your birthday since the day I knew,
I listened when you said your favorite color was blue,
I could tell you that you use your left hand when you write,
Or how you can’t stay up through all hours of the night,
I know your favorite sport involves a big orange ball,
I love how you laugh and shake it off when you fall,
I could explain how you got that scar on your arm,
And how mean words don’t cause you any harm,
I could tell you that you know nothing about me,
If you did, noticing me would be more easy
