Free Yourself

Go on now, leap.
Just let it all go.
Don't let them keep
you back from what you have a right to know.
They don't control you now.

Go on now, leap.
Don't fear the things
they did before, they shall reap
what they sowed. Your chains have fallen off your wings.
They don't control you now.

Go on now, leap.
Your future joy awaits
if you can but forget, deep
as the cuts may be and the sorrow the past creates.
They don't control you now.

I like the meaning :) Would you read my poem A Pink Watch, Portal, and Perpetual Sea if you get a chance? I would love to know what you think!
