I’m sorry for not being there.
Now I’m force to believe that you don’t care.
I’m sorry that I didn’t arrive on time.
You scold at me like I’ve committed a crime.
I’m sorry for buying you tulips instead of roses.
Remember when you threw the flower on the floor next to my toes.
I’m sorry that I couldn’t get back your ring that you couldn’t find.
I stood up for days to retrieve it, just to be kind.
I’m sorry that I’m just being me.
I think it’s time that we break and just let me be.
