Savage Love
a tale of pure, uncomplicated savagery
 unavoidably of Love too
 improbable, inexplicable, and altogether bewildering-
an atrocious phantom of the civilized world
and yet, as if by enchantment,
 this Love, savage of superb
 becomes the Mistress of Existence
 the clear flame of Destiny

 a fantastic invasion of Loneliness
expressive and puzzling, striking and disturbing
like running blaze on a plain
like a flash of lightning in the clouds.

 But darkness was here yesterday
As the whisper had proved irresistibly fascinating
Love was held captive by a spell.

But to break away, for a fleeting moment
As we live in the flicker

Trying to make up for the brilliance of sunshine

With an unpractical spirit of adventure.

 How quickly savage love surrenders

 A swift kiss-

 Love is silenced.

And the Heart of Darkness echoed loudly within.
