Your words are nice, but what's the catch?
I'm sending signals you won't fetch.
Beautiful lies you stand there and say,
Then you just turn and walk away.
You break the ice, and make a mess.
Take what you want and leave the rest.
You held me close then you just let go.
Tell me something that I don't know.
Hard to believe that all the while,
Your heart was cold with your warm smile.
You had the time but you didn't call.
You took a chance and risked it all.
I'm trying my best to be sure that no one can see..
What a mess you've made of me.
