A blank page with tattered holes,
You fear to write upon this sacred mold,
With a pen or pencil of any kind,
Strings unraveling through endless time,
Our memories and miseries,
Shadowed by bittersweet tragedies,
Foretold by mystic sages,
Throughout times forgotten ages,
Lost dreams of what used to be,
Look at these scars that cover me,
For you know how this story will unfold,
You do not write upon these tattered holes.
