Can't Stop Thinking
I can't stop thinking about how short life can be.
We take it for granted,
yet it's so easy to see,
that one second you can be here
and the next you're gone,
leaving love ones behind feeling empty and alone.
I can't stop thinking about how it could've be me.
So many things left in live that I wouldn't get to see.
I've got my future planned out all bright and clear,
but I have this lingering fear,
that at any moment I could disappear.
I can't stop thinking about how it could've been you, and how I would react, what would I do?
I think I would be to weak to even carry on,
because you are the one who makes me strong.
I know that life is unpredictable and thats why I keep thinking,
"I hope I reach my dreams before I stop blinking."
And everyday I pray that you are there with me every step of the way.
