A rose stands out in a garden.
It stands completely isolated from the rest because it was different.
And for this, the rose is saddened.
Its only wish is to be the same, equivalent.
But its color has faded from red to black.
The reason was because it was ill.
It grew alone, without a pack.
Then a red rose grew on top of a hill.
The red rose was also different.
It had more thorns than the average.
But, like the black rose, its only wish is to be the same, equivalent.
No one realized that it was only damaged.
Suddenly, the black rose and the red rose ended up together.
It was the work of a girl who saw the two unhappy.
The black rose and the red rose got to know each other.
They couldn't thank the girl enough for making them happy.
The two roses grew old together.
Just like our love, it will last forever.

I wrote this for the love of my life. She reads it everyday and it brings joy to her. I'd like to share my work of art to everyone because no matter how dark your life may be, you'll find a little piece of light somewhere.

Everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die. How is that?

This is really good.  I would change the happy, and unhappy lines. (Like the other person said)  I thought the ending was really quick and short...  I would have liked it longer, but it works.  Good job otherwise.

Thanks for the feedback. I do agree, this piece of writing is not my best work. I will be adding more pieces as soon as I can. I will check out your writing as well. Thanks for reading my entries.

Not bad, but I did not really care for the two lines that ended in happy and unhappy just because of the word choice; I think you could have done something more there. Overall good poem, keep writing! Think you could check out my poem Sowing Poppies sometime?
