I use to be tricked,
Use to be fooled,
Everyday I believed,
I believed what you said
Every word,
Every sentence,
Every feeling,
Were all lies
I should have known,
I should have listened
What we “felt”
Was all a lie
You think I’m miserable,
You think I’m broken,
But what I said…
Lies, lies, lies
I guess we were,
Both fooled,
Both played
At least I’m use to it
But you were surprised
By all of our lies
Maybe next time
You should think
You should be honest
And actually care
