The Cake

I was on a diet,
Until I snuck real quiet,
That tempting, Oh so tempting cake!
“Wait!” it cried out,
I heard it, no doubt.
“Come over and take a bite out of me!”
“No” I said “ No!”
And wouldn’t you know?
It plopped it self right into my mouth!
Mmmm, it tasted good,
Until it decided it would,
Retire for good in my hips!
