No one complains
Until they feel some sort of pain.
There’s nothing to ever say
Until you face the day
I remember the day I was told the truth
It didn’t hurt as bad as you would think,
To me, I thought tears would flood as soon as I’d blink.
It’s not a problem not being a daddy’s little girl,
At times it takes my emotions on a whirl.
But then, remembering how strong to be,
In reality it’s the best thing for me.
For a substance to break up a family you can’t expect much,
I always miss the sense of touch.
Not just a hug but the love,
But as I’m getting older it’s being thoughtless of.
It’s not a problem not being a daddy’s little girl,
At times it takes my emotions on a whirl.
But then, remembering how strong to be,
In reality it’s the best thing for me.
How do I make someone proud?
When they’ve had their head stuck in a cloud.
Time has flew by and I have grown,
While he’s been in the “zone”.
Life is how it is,
It’s not always easy
And that sounds cheesy,
But that’s how I live my life.
It’s not a problem not being a daddy’s little girl,
At times it takes my emotions on a whirl.
But then, remembering how strong to be,
In reality it’s the best thing for me.
