“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions”
Rainer Maria Rilke quote

In the shadow her beauty thrives.
In the shadow her beauty thrives.
An escape island of refuge in an urban sea.
An escape island of refuge in an urban sea.
In an escape the urban shadow thrives
Refuge in her beauty of an island sea

I leave to come here down the path of cobblestone
I leave to come here down the path of cobblestone
To greet scenes of blooming, foreign flowers
To greet scenes of blooming, foreign flowers
Leave down scenes of cobblestone flowers to
Here I come to greet the foreign path of blooming

Awaken spring, or a personal resurrection
Awaken spring, or a personal resurrection
I sat on the same bench, you can mark my words
I sat on the same bench, you can mark my words
My words, I mark, sat on a personal resurrection or
Bench the same you, spring can awaken

A sea of flowers thrives in her foreign beauty.
Here, scenes awaken blooming
Down the path of personal resurrection.
You can escape the same shadow or greet the words of spring
I leave my mark on a bench I sat in refuge-
An urban cobblestone island to come to

I was inspired to write this paradelle by a beautiful garden which acts as my self haven. When asked to consider the 'places' in my life that hold the most significance, this garden was the first image that came to mind.
