Be You, and Stay True
Who cares about them?
With their plastic smiles and annoying trends
They mean nothing to you
Because happiness is the only truth.
Honesty with oneself is what makes life worth it
Cuz fake emotions and meaningless laughs
Will give you not half
The joy of a heart fully lit.
So just let them be
They won't really matter in the end
Make your own happiness
Don't let it on others depend.
People come and go,
Choose wisely who you spend your time with
Friends are not for show
Rather, a beloved prize, a gift.
Pretenders can only do harm
Not just to themselves, but to others
But true friends accept, no, embrace who you are
And make living a passionate wonder.
