Speak
if everythings ok, why does it still hurt?
you say you're alright, but you're dying inside
you smile, but you walk away crying
you keep it together, oh you're really trying
still say you're fine, but its apparent you're lying
sometimes it seems they don't really care
sometimes they're not even really there
you can't understand no you never will
what you've done to me, how you've made me feel
broken and defeated, shattered to the core
left my feelings scattered all across the floor
I'm heart broken
but at least this time I've spoken
I've kept to myself for too long
everything was just bottled up
and now its flowing out,
through my hands, tears, and mouth
please don't go and do this again,
I hope you won't, my dear friend
