An Ode to Spring
The senses refreshed as the colors are vibrant.
An amber blaze settles on the glistening horizon.
The clouds in their passing cast patterns in shade.
As the born-again sweethearts gather bouquets.
The deer slowly arise and retire to the meadow,
To welcome back the robins and the choir that they bellow.
The barren winter past, embrace another birth.
For the breath of life once again returns to Mother Earth.
Wondrous surroundings make you thankful just to be alive.
So here’s an ode to spring, a chance for all to thrive.
