Music: My Escape

As pain is bottled up inside me,
I play it out through the keys.
As emotion runs freely out my fingertips,
My foot on the pedal will freeze.
Forcing the notes to be smoother than ever.
And making a beautiful sound.
I am now in the music,
My problems forgotten,
And peacefulness now surrounds.
As I lift up the pedal,
I press hard on the keys,
And my feelings are portrayed.
Now my problems are left there on the keys,
And in the song I played.
