Slide Away
There is a theory on the horizon,
that what we love now,
isn’t what we will love tomorrow.
There is a silence that I live with now,
that may last forever,
no matter how far I am dragged away.
Consequently it’s all spaced away,
dreaming it all day,
it will forever stay.
Reasoning with nothing is impossible,
substances will build the path way,
that opens in your imagination.
You see linear,
there isn’t a way to convey,
my mind slides away.
Strictly I’m at fault,
you are so righteous,
I want to be righteous.
I try to see it through,
the night slips away,
my medicine extends into May.
