Reincarnation
The moon was shinning with all it’s might
Bright, big, and beautiful;
People closed their doors at night
Although I found it blissful;
I felt a droplet on my hand, and realized it started to drizzle.
As I was nocturnal and the humans were not
It was the start of my day and the end of theirs;
Some hunters wanted me caught
From the time the humans climbed the stairs
Although I made cactus’ with their neck hairs.
I hide in a corner as I hear voices
“Come out vampire, I see you”
I had to make big choices
“Come on human, I see too”
He’s scared, I feel it for I am voodoo.
He turns as we both realize he had past me
He lifts a hand with a knife in it
He thinks I am beastly
I look at the moon, it is lit
Like a lamp in the stars, it is beautiful. I sit.
He brings down the knife
I daze a bit
This is the end of my life
This man has a lot of wit
I did not put up a fight, cause I will reincarnate.
Such a good benefit.
