The Fire

The fire makes the ground glow
with blinding bursts of white light
it's too hard to look straight at it
the sea shines also from the fire
the lights flickering on annd off
drowning into the depths of nothing
the earth begins to break
swallowing the precious plants
they can't do anything about it
the sky itself weeps for them
wondering why they do this
it's only a matter of time before they destroy themselves
