Flood Fences
It’s never ending,
the blue water.
Surrounding the walls,
the flood fences.
The blue water
we float through,
the flood fences
protect us.
We float through,
in a houseboat.
Protect us
from getting stuck on shore.
In a houseboat
we’re surrounded by green.
From getting stuck on shore,
our boat is still.
We’re surrounded by green,
surrounding the walls,
our boat is still,
it’s never ending.
