Pages of my life

By
The pages of my life are such a blur of truths and lies

That I'm not sure which ones are real.

I'm praying you won't know the difference either.

The distorted pictures fade in and out of memory.

Hopefully you can't see to clearly.

I fear you might see what you may not be able to handle, In me

You might decide I'm not worth the time, the thought,

I'm not worth the trouble of knowing.

Give me just one night to show you how i feel

Give me one night to show you, in my own way, love..

Give me one night and i can show you everything you need know to.

Give me one night to show you who I am…

Aggravated at what I've done before

What reason is there to see more?

You already know what I can do to you

What point is there in trying to find a way in telling you to trust me…

God watches my movements
Mom watches my sins

I watch the time go by with loveless actions taken in and passed around within.

You watch me try to cover up in lies and I cry to know that's what I have to do in order to have your trust…

Give me just one night to show you how i feel

Give me one night to show you, in my own way, love..

Give me one night and i can show you everything you need know to.

Give me one night to show you who I am….
