I'm Sorry
I’m sorry you’re unhappy
And can’t seem to figure out
How to have a little fun
Or laugh out loud and shout
I’m sorry you’re so serious
You’ve scared off all your friends
Don’t forget to be a kid
Before your childhood ends
I’m sorry I can’t tell you
How to act and what to say
I wish that I could shine a light
To guide you through the day
I’m sorry you don’t understand
The social ins and outs
But really that’s just one more thing
To laugh and joke about
You’d probably have a flock of friends
If you would just let go
Loosen up, crack a smile!
Instead you’re all alone
Until you learn to take a joke
And let the drama die
I’ll be laughing with my friends
I’m sorry and good bye
