It is just that time of year.

It is just that time of year.
The time of our lives,
And our senior year is almost over.
It's a time to start a new chapter
in our lives and leave the past behind.
We'll move on from high school life
And into a world where we are on our own.
No more nagging from our moms,
Or her delicious homemade meals.
No more rushing home for curfew,
Or typing last minute essays for English.
We've been through it together,
And now its time we part.
We pack our things and enter the world,
Whether we are ready or not.
It is just that time.
