“Sing like no one's listening, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching, and live like its heaven on earth.”Mark Twain
I will not play tug o' war. I'd rather play hug o' war. Where everyone hugs instead of tugs, Where everyone giggles and rolls on the rug, Where everyone kisses, and everyone grins, and everyone cuddles, and everyone wins.
-Shel Silverstein

My body strains itself when trying to find you
It seems that my legs can’t wait
to cross at red.It seems that I can’t
wait to look beyond you even if you’re never
here. Never here waiting for me, never here
to stop me. Never here to guide.

Where is the sound that has guided
the one who has loved you
and only him? It isn’t here
where I’ve decided I can no longer wait.
The nausea is setting in, never
resting. I stop when I can’t

move. Maybe you can help because I can’t.
Maybe I can guide
while you can hide, I can seek but never
find what I’m looking for. You
can shout but I’ll never hear you. You can wait
while I wait for you to come out and find me here.

Repeat it when you promise you’ll be here
when I come back. You said we can’t
be apart. You told me you would wait.
Is it my voice that will guide?
Is that how I will I find you?
Answer without saying never

Run to me before I never
see you again. Hurry here
before I have to leave you.
Let us meet before we can’t
speak to me and let us guide
what we’ve lost. Don’t wait

to say you might love me, wait
to say that you can’t deal with me. Never
giving me the chance to say I’ve guided
you here. I’m the reason you’re here.
Never giving me the chance to say I can’t
think of you

leaving. I wait and you are stuck here.
I love to never hurt whats weak. Can’t
stop guiding what I love, won’t wound the damaged. Can’t pain you.
