I don’t understand
The meaning of love
Why I’m still with the person who hurts me the most
Why I tell myself “it’s not true” even if I know it is.
But most of all I don’t understand
Why I believe everything he tells me
Why I put up with so much pain
Why I cry when I’m the one who tells the other girls that guys are not worth our tears.
What I understand
He loves me
He’ll always come back to me
Why I love him.
