Thunderstorms booming loud
When the downpour comes crashing down
With strikes bright and proud
When you look up and slightly frown
Hearing the rattle of the drops against your head
And it really makes you ponder
Rain leading to meaning dread
Is what many people wonder
When it dries
It leaves a world of pain
And when it says its final goodbyes
It will be remembered as rain
