Clarity

All those afternoon ice cream walks
The air was full of songs and smiles
I could see for miles,
While the sun played games and made shadows through the trees.

The air was full of songs and smiles,
We became hyenas and monkeys and
While the sun played games and made shadows through the trees
Everything came alive.

We became hyenas and monkeys and
We danced down the street in our bare feet.
Everything came alive,
As the autumn breeze swept us up like leaves

All those afternoon ice cream walks,
We danced down the street in our bare feet,
As the autumn breeze swept us up like leaves,
I could see for miles.
