Peach = safe

She says How lucky
She is,
Her children are sane.

But she doesn’t know,
No ones as sane as they seem.

Not even me.

Or have it jumping to defend,
It has no end.

The silent drums,
Still haunt me,
While I sleep under the peaches,
Seeking refuge,
From their sweet branches.
