Dreams and Nightmares

As I lay
Quite In my bed
Many thoughts
Go through my head
When will I die?
Will I wake?
It makes me shiver
It makes me shake
But as I dream
Of peaceful things
These thoughts die away
But it’ll sting
Some dreams are peaceful
No fear in sight
Some dreams are evil
And make you fight
If you’re afraid to
Turn out the light
Do remember
God’s there tonight
But when the devil comes to
Punish for sins
God is their too
And he’ll win!
