DRUNK DRIVING

one dark night on the edge of town,
a boy and his girlfriend were driving around.
the radio loud,turned up high,
singing along as the moments passed by.
never realizing what was coming ahead,
but soon enough, one will be dead.
faster and fater as the numbers got high,
singing along as the moments passed by.
then a pick-up truck came out of nowhere,
he was too drunk to stop, she was too drunk to care.
she felt the crash, looked over and cried.
later that night her boyfriend had died.
