Favorite Quote:
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional

The tender green grass
Peeks out through the snow
Reaching for the sky
As high as it can go

Warm and gentle is the wind
Blowing through the chimes
Making them clink and sing
A song with no meaning or rhyme

The clear blue sky
A sea around the sun
Speckled with whispy clouds,
Though sometimes there are none

Gleeful and gay are the birds
Singing all through their flight
They are harmony to the chimes
And beauty in the light

The clear blue sky
The gleeful birds fly
The tender green grass
A song is what the Spring has

The author's comments:
Spring is coming, and I felt compelled to write about it's beauty. My inspiration came to me when I was looking out the window, wishing spring would come faster.
