Steady heartbeat
As feet pound against the pavement
Nothing but your tears
And your unsettling secrets
Pushing everything to the extreme
Your feet begin accelerating
Needing to scream
But the silence is too sickening
Falling further from the perfection that grows
Falling away from the person they used to know
Bottling the emotions of a faulty life
Leads to the collapse of the child inside
Collapsing at the source of infection
Tears drench your face
As you hope for her resurection
For no one can take her place
