Things She Hates

The things she hates are,
Her cell phone, that degrades her with its cruel messages.
Clothes, that expose all her extra weight.
Friends, that soon became her enemies.
And gossip, about her sexuality.

And even though,
Her dad, left when she was two.
And her mom, drinks far to much.
There is one thing she loves,
it is nothing more,
than the sweet relief,
of her knife,
pressing at her skin.

The author's comments:
I really hate when people ask me "who is this about" and I say no one really because that's the truth. I really wanted to be more of the general people who do this.

My idea was to take things that girls like and make this girl hate them.

I really liked this. Especially the comma placements in the second stanza (english guru crap, i know) but, i also really liked the whole poem. It wasn't at all what i had expected it to be.
