The Pain Within

The pounding from within my head
Does cause a pain so great
It fills me up with unknown hurt
And puts me in this state
I do not know which way to turn
What way that I should go
Or if in time I can escape
The death I've come to know
A light I need to bring me back
To show me love once more
And let me know I should not fear
Instead start to adore
The one who can so save my life
And end all this my strife
To show me love with all their heart
And bring me my true life
