Hallucinations By: Malori Schabloski
Drifting through the algae covered pond in our
rusty old boat, I watched a leaf float by and
unforgettable memories came to mind.
Memories of where the grimy broken motor
once fell off and drowned in what seemed as
the depths of the ocean that night.
A strong gust of wind shook the boat and a
bursting cloud of thunder broke loose.
In the distance through the enormous drops
of freezing rain, I saw a glimpse of you but
when I took a closer look you were gone.
