Mirror,
What will you let me see today?
Will it be me that I see?
Or someone different,
Have I changed completely,
Overnight?
Transformation.
Mirror,
Will I see that girl from yesterday?
Her full lips and blue eyes,
Is she still there?
Will I see what lies,
Beneath?
Confusion.
Mirror,
What can you show me?
I seem the same on the outside,
What’s behind the mask?
What really stays hidden inside,

This body?
Is imitation.
Mirror,
When can you reveal the secret to me?
Does it still remain or is it no more?
Skin comes off with the removal of the mask,
Will I find what I have been,

Searching for?
My own identification.

Wow, this is really interesting, I can't believe no one else has commented on it. One of the reasons I like this particular poem so much is how much I connected with it. I don't know what inspired you to write it, but what ever the case may be, keep it up.
