After Autumn

January 8, 2008
By Anonymous

The leaves went from changing colors
To falling on the ground
Leaving extra work for people to do
Now we have to rake the leaves
And the trees are empty
Plain
Dull.

Now its winter
The days are cold
The days are short
And the nights are long.

All the memory we have of autumn
Is the plain
Dull
Leaf-less
Trees.
