A piece of soul is stolen
everytime you scream
and when you tell in horror
you're told it was just a dream
A million hands grab at you
tearing you apart
digging holes in your chest
just to feel your heart
Death lives in the shadows
with eyes that pierce and kill
and when you wake up breathless
your tears always feel so real
Hell lives in your nightmares
try to remember, they're only dreams
when you rise with bloodied lungs
from the thousands times you screamed
