Mouth Sewed Shut

You took a needle and thread,
And sewed my mouth shut,
You put lies into my head,
And silenced me,
I’m not staying quiet anymore,
I’m cutting off these strings,
And walking out that door,
You don’t control me,
Had my mouth shut for so long,
I know what you’ll say,
You’ll tell me I’m wrong,
And order me away,
You took a needle and a thread,
You silenced me for too long,
You took away everything I said,
And now I’m gone.
