The Only Place I Can Think Clear

By
The only place I can think clear—
On my closet floor I lay—
But I don’t like it here.

Enclosed, where nobody will hear
Often, I come here everyday
The only place I can think clear.

Alone, where no help is near
Nowhere to go, I decide to stay
But I don’t like it here.

Free of anxiety, free of fear
My confusion can decay
The only place I can think clear.

The videos in my mind, dreadful yet sincere
I watch these memories continue to play
But I don’t like it here.

Tear streams down me like drunken men in beer
Crouched on the floor, I think I’m okay
The only place I can think clear
But I don’t like it here.
