Waiting for the possible

We have sat here for months
trying every possible thing
but surgery
we sit there feeling bad
but getting tired of hearing about it
you went to the doctor again
they had bad news...
you need surgery :(
not knowing what to say
if we should be happy or sad
but you sit there making jokes
because you dont know what to think
hopefully it will make it better
not worse
all we can do is sit here and wait for the possible
